It is likely derived from the more commonly used: SNÖKAOS = “snow chaos” Other dramatic weather conditions: BLIXTHALKA = “lightening bolt slipperiness” OVÄDER = “un-weather” RUSK= “filthy weather” MAMMUTSTORM = MAMMOTH STORM SVARTHALKA = “black-slipperiness” (freezing rain).
